that fancy dash did all of the datalogging for the vid, cam is a reg POS gopro 1
That's awesome? how does it work, do you just queue it up manually and it overlays on the video?

The data is in a csv file, you import the vid and data into xyz program and line up the times. I was using racerender for this one.
Also, harrys lap timer can do it too, you can take video with a ios device, and it will automatically do all of the shit using the built in gps and accelerometers but it's not as accurate.

Ah okay, yeah that's what I figured. Pretty cool, the end result looks great. Just needs more corvette.

lol, yeah I was looking at the cars in my run group thinking, shit I'm screwed, then I run up on a c6 z06 and passed him, then a zr1, then a c5 z06, etc...
I was prob only 2 secs faster than the fastest vettes, then the LG world challenge camaro comes out for some TNT and runs a fucking 1:52:xx
I was there. My stupid stock CTS cooked the brake fluid in the first session and I slid off the track when my brakes completely failed. No damage and LG flushed the fluid and I went back out but my brake pads were chunking and didn't feel too good.
So much for thinking I could take the car out for a single track day without modding the fluid and pads. Tires were squealing like stuck pigs too.

Yeah that fucking sucks, that place is hell on brakes, I have $2500 in brakes on my miata just for that track. Glad to hear no damage, I have had a few bad brake experiences there.....
I have thought about taking my z06 up there but I don't think the brakes would hold up in stock form.
Baron is STILL the only guy in the thread w/o a vette, wtf!

They will hold up, I never had any problem. Except the fact I had to replace them the next day.
