Depending on how my team works the races next year, we might have an open Mustang for a race. If we have 3-4 people who have interest, I can plan to put my team in the Miata and put together an all DFWM team in the coupe.

I'm interested. Obviously I have all my own safety gear, we can even mount my seat in the car for race weekends.

Edit: It's a 16 or 16.5 Kirkey with head and shoulder supports. See the "track car" thread for pics. It is set up for me though, I'm 6'5, so the head and shoulder supports may be a bit high for some.

So far there are 8-9 interested, so we may need to build the Saab, if we have enough people.

They won't announce next year's schedule for a few more months, there's plenty of time.

Cool. I get home mid-September for good. I'll have a better assessment of the car when I get back. It was perfectly fine and running strong when I left. My father-in-law has done nothing but start it up every now and then.
