cai,longtubes,exhaust,pullies,short throw,tune,gears ran 8.20 with a 1.73 60ft, then with cams and built rear and full suspension, subframes etc, 7.8 with a 1.64, then on spray and some weight reduction, did 7.30 with a 1.58 60ft, now i have a vortech and it runs a tad faster, once i do the return style fuel system i will be hitting the track hard again i want to run 10s with the stock motor

5 speed car? I'm not for sure if low 8's with those bolt on's is average. Don't see to many of those cars running that kind of times being n\a. Not saying it doesn't happen.

So what kind of 60 fts were u getting?

Now his car has a lot of miles on it. Prolly been beaten for awhile.

Sounds like both of yall have some good running cars.

Eric- good luck on hitting the 10's. Our best in the 1\4 is 11.4 with our stock motor 4.6 with a blower. Stock heads, cam , and headers. Only dyno 364hp, only weight reduct is weld wheels.

thanks, yeah last outting it ran a 11.27 with crappy 1.73 60ft i have a good trans now and will have more power than last outting

And our blower car ran 8.7 -8.8 on motor. Added blower. About 10-11 psi and control arms now runs 7.1- 7.4 depending on weather and track

Good luck on hitting that. Like Brandon said my car does have alot of miles on it. So it probably has been beaten pretty good

thats a good improvement my mph in the 1/8th went from 88 to 98 with the blower
