      Seat time alone will be the biggest way to go faster, but you have to do one of these events first! I have seen folks in C6 Vettes get passed by well driven miatas. Mods to the car are pointless in your first 6 or 8 events. In fact, I prefer starting students out in the crappiest street car they can bring so they build strong skills and don't develop any bad habits that the car covers up with VSC or traction control. If you can drive a POS well, you can drive an exotic with ease...and not vice versa.

          Seat time costs money too! I'll be out at some point when funds permit, though.
