This particular car was tuned by a local shop and had axle back bassani exhaust and a CAI. It also was a factory 3.73 car with the front Brembo brakes and 19" wheels. It made 416 rwhp......6 speed manual

Interior wise: loved it, you could see out of all the windows.
Kinda seemed like it was missing the sports car feel though.

Power wise: you could tell it was a small motor. The power was peeky feeling compared to the Ls3. It was almost like riding a 2 stroke bike. It was fast, but had a short power band. That being said you could also tell the car was alot lighter then the 5th gen. I loved the fact that it had gears to boot. Now that GM offers the same gear, should be a good driver to.

    Cliffnotes:I'd buy one
I like my 11 GT for sure. Mines an auto with CAI and a tune, the 93 octane tune definitely wakes the car up. More power, increased the shift points and firmed up the shifts. These cars are pleasantly quick with minor mods. I like the refined interior of the Mustang alot better than the Camaro interior. I think they are pretty good cars straight out of the factory.

      Saving my pennies!
Who makes an E85 tune for this car?

Brian go buy your BRIDE one. I am. We'll be a house divided. The new Coyote power plant is gonna F**K LS motors up. I can't wait to put her in it and start tweaking.

TrueStreet Motorsports Coyote Freak for the BRIDE coming up!

I dont wanna jump ship, I just love the fact that ford is slapping the shit out of GMs balls right now. The next new car I buy will be a Grand Sport. Every time I see one of those cars I invision a stock sounding car with a pro charger. I'd like to build one and run the mile events with it, then drive it home.

Dude we did a Maggie 2300 on a GS Vert and swapped the rear pulleys. It underclocks in the back on the LS3 Vette kits. Brian it fuggin made 9psi and ROCKED! it was a 7.20 1/8th car with a PISS POOR driver on street tires. That was 100% stock EVERY WHERE ELSE. The Vette kits come with a callaway CAI and we did use that.

Put a TVS Maggie on that bitch and let Sam go ape shit on it!

                  Why a Maggie?
I doubt Brian will stray from Procharger.

Cuz you'll make it work no matter what he uses! The Vette TVS kits are fantastic. Hands down the best kit Magna makes.

Talk him into a F1 and just underdrive it until there's a motor there to turn it up

I believe with longtubes mid pipe cat back and CAI the highest on e85 has been 460hp/430tq thru a manual.

I bet it would get pretty close to 500 with the BOSS intake on it.

I doubt that. Rumors have it that the boss intake only makes more power above 7k rpm then stock. allfordmustangs.com

humm. Those numbers sound a little high but if those are accurate it sounds like a good idea! Does HPP do mail order tunes? What all is needed to run e85 in the mustang? Just drain and refill the tank? Plus obviously the tune itself. How much do they charge?
