This particular car was tuned by a local shop and had axle back bassani exhaust and a CAI. It also was a factory 3.73 car with the front Brembo brakes and 19" wheels. It made 416 rwhp......6 speed manual
as for the bottle, it will scoot with a jug, but id keep it to 125. ive already heard of a couple of these things kicking rods with the spray...though that was 150/175 shot.2011 Mustang GT

Results are in. Mannys car is basicly stock with a cold air and catback. We didn't test it on e85..but with 93 in the tank, it gain about 20rw at 7000 rpm....and pulls all the way till 7800 without dropping off at all. It did lose power down low...but that's to be expected with a short runner tunnel ramm style intake. With a built motor, or with boost....it would be a beast. Best number now with 93 is 416rw. Expecting over 420rw with e85

I don't know why so many people are doing these mail order generic tunes. Manny has the most experiance in dfw with these new 5.0's...especilly with e85 tunes. He has done bolton cars, nitrous, and 750rw hp stock motor blower 5.0's. If you have a 2011..and want the tune that will deliver the most power, tailored to you car..give HPP a call.

Chris people think they can get just as good of tune from some guy who tunes cars at a desk 2000 miles away. They don't understand maximum power gains for hours spent souly on their car, they see saving 100 bucks and it taking 20 minutes to install with their programer.

But lets not kid ourselves and think that these shops that do canned tunes, have no experience behind their tunes. Sure, there are some fly by night operations out there, but if you stick with American Muscle/Bama, Evolution Performance/Jon Lund, or Blow By Racing, or a few of the other 'big name' shops, you're likely to get a pretty close to dead on tune for your car.

I think it's $750 (and I guess + tax would make it $810ish) at HPP. I don't even have a mustang at the moment, but if all I were doing were a cold air kit and tuner, I'd be ok with saving $200. If I were gonna do anything more custom than that - or wanted to run E85, then I'd definitely want a local dyno tuning session. Or if I were trying to squeeze that extra .004 out of my ET.

There is never a dead on with a mail order tune. There is always something not right. I can't tell you how many mail order tunes show up here and get their car retuned. Including tunes from BBR and Lund.
