The starting line used to be great a few years ago and then they went and hired a company last year to re-surface it and then it went to crap. Every car that launched after the re-surface job pulled up shunks of concrete. They tried the face lift on the old surface and there wasn't any skin to lift. After this re-do, it'll go back to the best hookin track in North Texas, take it to the bank! KUDOS to them for takin care of the surface. Big thumbs up! for TXR
I love my Friday nights at TXR, they don't get no better than a Friday night. GOOD RACING AND LOTS OF FUN.
We will be there for the Outlaw 275 class with a 5.30 cap every month. Sounds like fun and I can hardly wait

The starting line was still left over from years and years ago when Hutch owned the track. It had just been worn down from years of scraping and racing and the rubber wouldn't stick to it anymore. But I agree with you on the kuddos for fixing it. Now if they could just do something about the ski jump going up to the burnout box in the left lane.

Oh yeah that was when they tried to band aid it and had somebody come in and grind it trying to rough it up so the rubber would stick. Didn't work obviously.
You got Michael driving again for you this year? or is your son driving again? That was your son that drove it before right?

Understand that! I got two girls racing juniors and my oldest used to race. About the time they get into highschool and discover boys and telephones they loose interest in racing every weekend fast.
