ATMORE, AL (WALA) -
An Atmore man died in a single-car crash Tuesday afternoon, according to Alabama State Troopers.

It happened at 2 p.m. on Pouncey Road two miles east of Atmore, according to Trooper Jamie L. Maloy.

David Lee Hudson, 41, was killed when the 1987 Ford Mustang he was driving left the roadway and struck a utility pole, Maloy said in a news release. Hudson was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries, Maloy said.
