Well all I can say is, I flagged the race between Brian and Chief so I had a pretty good vantage point of what happened. The road was pretty wide but about 300', Brian's car made a hard right turn and clipped the back end of Chief's car. It happened so fast I truly believe there was nothing Brian could have done. Anyways, I was one of the first ones to Chief's car and I must say his safety equipment did its job. The EMS crew was there right after the wreck as well and had a faster than response time than MOST tracks I've been to. A track with guardrails would have probably cut the car like butter. A track with concrete walls would have still sent him tumbling. I mean, pick your poison here. Go over a curb and flip in a field, hit head first into a wall then flip on top of the concrete wall, or have a metal guardrail come inside the car with you.

If only we had an example of this....



In the end you're getting into a car with the knowledge that anything can happen regardless of where you're racing at. The track or the street, it's a crap shoot either way you look at it, they both have their pros and cons. Chris said it best, pick your poison.

No confirmation yet, but that is what is being shown as the "new" car on FB. Personally not a fan, but if you're making bank right now, might as well get what you want while you can. Show won't last forever.
