Well all I can say is, I flagged the race between Brian and Chief so I had a pretty good vantage point of what happened. The road was pretty wide but about 300', Brian's car made a hard right turn and clipped the back end of Chief's car. It happened so fast I truly believe there was nothing Brian could have done. Anyways, I was one of the first ones to Chief's car and I must say his safety equipment did its job. The EMS crew was there right after the wreck as well and had a faster than response time than MOST tracks I've been to. A track with guardrails would have probably cut the car like butter. A track with concrete walls would have still sent him tumbling. I mean, pick your poison here. Go over a curb and flip in a field, hit head first into a wall then flip on top of the concrete wall, or have a metal guardrail come inside the car with you.

You must have been listening to an old podcast. Eric flipped in November of 2014 at a no prep in OKC. He has been back out racing in a new car since earlier this year.

I'm pretty sure boosted has said many times that he'll never have a big tire on his car, guess we'll see how bad he wants to be #1
