No doubt, wouldn't be much different than no prep.

The one thing I had planned on doing was buying a POS Olds Avelro, take OUT EVERYSINGLE thing possible, throw a home made nitrous kit on it, and have fun. Found the car... just not enough people to help out on the build... 350$ for the car was pushin it.
      Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Denny, you are looking at this all wrong, you need something with a lot of weight with an overpowered engine because of it. Then you remove the weight. The engine needs to swallow a big hit of nitrous and keep on ticking too. A truck with one of those 502 BBCs might be nice or any car with a BBF. Any car or truck with those is going to have a decent tranny and rear end too.

I looked at the reatta online also just last night.

There is a rule that intrigues me, says only a working drivers door- body wise...Being a fan of Roadkill, that has me thinking, fenders, hood, ac, seats, lots of wiring crap, airbags, other doors, seats, bumpers all weight a lot.

I know a lot of local division 4 racers are doing this, they know a lot of tricks. One buddy picked up a turbo Ford Probe.

I like Johnny's thinking yet this seems like a good direction as well. With 4 races being planned next year I kinda wanna play with this as well.

Keep one thing in mind. The car will be judged by "experts" on the value of it and the mods, so if over 500$... no go. Also it can be claimed by track and you get nothing to bring home.

My plan was to make the 8 runs, and it blow up on return road, and sign the paper work for no title and go home leaving the car/truck for the track to send to Kars for Kids.

I know enough tricks to help some( you would be amazed what about 5 feet of black cardboard can do), and played with nitrous enough to blow it up.
