Second, BuckNasty - why post something like that in tags where you THINK you can't be seen?
I don't really care if anyone knows, can I not have an opinion?

Yes, of course you are entitled to an opinion -but, if you insist on putting it out there and honestly don't care, why hide behind the tags?

Good luck, i see an 8 to 9 car field with the true streeters dominating...

It will take some time and alot of money to get the radials figured out!!!

Only the racers with unlimited time and funds will make it in new class!!!

          So much for "budget class"

Drag radials aren't that hard to figure out, we ran pretty good on the radials with a fairly streetable car making pretty good power.

So what is the reason, I know of a few cars including myself. I think with a 275 tire not like we are going to over power the nitrous cars. But at least it would be a few more cars to compete each week.

It's the same reason it's been the past 5 years... NONE of these cars actually show up....correction, maybe one - the firebird.

There was a meeting that was known by everyone that mattered (aka racers), and how many of these TT people showed up? As far as I know, NONE.

There have been meetings for the past, what, 5-7 years - and how many people with TT's showed up then? You got it, NONE. Wait, correction.. one-maybe two.

                  ME and the black firebird....

I've long since sold all that stuff and moved into the mainstream stuff where most of the racing organizations only allow singles anyways. But, the fact of the matter is that there aren't a lot of TT cars around here that fit the bill. You get either pro-mod type cars, outlaw cars, or street cars.. but rarely any cars that are in the middle with something like twin 63's...

                    TT cars

Welll I guess I will have to start showing up to the races and run test and tune and campaign to change it. Mine is a street car and hopefully can run with the fast 275 cars once all bugs worked out. Oh well I guess nothing else I can do some grudge racing...

I can gaurantee you this, you can forget twin 88's, street car or not.

The nitrous cars are pill limited, it would be futile to run a car with twin 88's with them.

I would like to be at the meeting when somebody asks if they can up the turbo limit from an 88mm to a pair of 88mm's

I can't speak for everybody but I know our team had 4 cars for sure in the class's 1 in true street and 3 in extreme with david's car in a few months running extreme also, but now it looks like all of us are walking away. David is gonna try it but Scott is not sure. No hard feelings and good luck to TTT5.

I talked to Cedric on the phone the other night, he is willing to work with just about any combo. I mean he said he was cool with my buddies C headed bbf on the motor, and said he would work with him on the weight to put it in the hunt. He really wants this to take off with LOCAL cars so they don't have to rely on out of towners to make the field full every race. He told me a little of what is being talked about to get the TS cars competitive, and its pretty good stuff in my opinion, and I'm never happy with anything.

                            Chris

Chad, I think you would do better than you think if you give it a chance.

Is the "Outlaw" 275 class still running this year? The 5.30 cap one.

I heard they are running it, but going to let 28x10.5s in to up the car count. Which I think is not needed if ttt5 is going to be a 275 class there will be plenty of cars now.
