Racing on the street is always a stupid thing. At the track you minimize the unknowns that can happen. Yellowbelly excused, all the tracks have people on duty to at least try to keep you alive if you do wreck.

You can die anywhere including the track (at yellow belly your more likely to die off the track. .lol)and that was his decision to not wear any belts in that car and test on the street. Dont be stupid and try to blame a TV show...we all were street racing WAY before that show came out.

Sure, we all street raced 400 hp cars on the street and some died, that's a far cry from 1500+hp cars being promoted on a show to run on the street. It's like , "look at them, if they can do it so can I". It's not a excuse for why Greg died but without watching them do it every weekend you think he would have thought he could run a 4 second car on a un-prepped street with dirt and trash on it. I don't.

I'm confused why people are calling it a street racing crash. So if anyone is exceeding the speed limit it's now street racing ?

That's what Plano PD told me when I went to jail for dumping the clutch through an intersection. ZERO TOLERANCE!111

Because it happened on the street.
