  • RIP , Street racing crash

R.I.P. to a fellow gearhead Greg Gross aka KingCobra as must of you may have known him from the local mustang and drag racing message forums.
Less than an hour ago Greg lost his life out on US27.
I don't know the details or the specifics on what exactly happened, but I do know that he was hauling ass, lost control and rolled numerous times in his X275 drag car.

    ( Florida ?? )

    Big thread over on yb.

Sucks for sure, but sounds like no belts and ejected from the car.

Not wearing a belt in that car would be nuts. Died doing what he loved at least.

RIP.... my uncle died from not wearing a seat belt and got thrown out from his car when it rolled. Pretty stupid reason to die, that should be 2nd nature in a car like that.....

that is sad indeed, but it is the risk you assume when doing that type of thing on the street.

i feel the same way when i speed around on my bike.
