Anyone here other than me old enough to remember running behind Miller Brewery back in the 70's and early 80's? Or out at 360/20 before they finished 360?

Pretty good racing back then. Gene Snow would come out every now and then with the Snow Man, saw a really good money race between him and an old FED at the Brewery one weekend.

I remember watching one of the dangerous Cobra's and White V6 bird running on 360/20. I always like 360/20, and 111th.

I was just a kid when my dad raced his 77 chevy long bed behind Miller. Faint memories of him and my mom going out there when I was around 5 years old

I remember many nights out at Luna, northwest highway, Carter, Astro. Cruising Fenders on Northwest highway. Stangs n stuff, Street Lethal Performance, Ufo Racing. The mail truck. Great memories. The gas was cheap and the laws were less strict.

I remember railhead in blue mound used to be very hot. You could ssee smoke from 820 it looked like a clip out of Fast&Furious with all the people there. There was a lot of bad wrecks out there and things fizzled out. One car went through a building, a car flipped in the middle of the road, a guy died after he hit a parked big rig trailer.

I remember when I could get in my car and drive it. now its just a rusty ass shell wasting away. So depressed when I saw it yesterday... I guess Im still happy I have it, but not really glad I ever spent the money on it now.

That is when I enjoyed the races, used to take my Jeep as a get away vehicle one way or another. Saw enough to learn why the drag strip is there.
