    I couldn't find M/T slicks local till

    I called M/T direct and ask them who were the local race tire sales outlets and Lo and behold it's Pepboys on Collins in Arlington. They had 28x10.5X15's slicks in stock on the shelf. They also have a speed shop at that location. holley kits jets ect. and all the stuff Supershops used to carry. A young guy named Antares is the manager of the speed shop area.

    Ya there's a Pepboys speed shop on 820 & 199 in west ft worth. They carry quite a bit in Stock ARP, NX, M/T, wide selection of auto meter gauges. I don't call jegs/Summitt near as often now...

      Same here in Plano too, they stock lots of goodies and will price match Jegs or Summit too!!!

              D&S Kawasaki nearby used to be the big VP distributor for the area as well. They may still be, I haven't bought race fuel in a while.

                Next time you need a set of MT's let me know before hand and I will see if I am going to a race that Pro Tire will be at. I can pick them up and save you on shipping and possibly the cost of the tires as well.
