First track run ever!

9.29 1/8th at Denton last night. First and best run I can see where this could cost me. First thing I want is some drag radials... street tires suck.

That's a good guess! I had a 93 z28 with auto/3.23's (I think) that ran 9.0's all day. Exhaust, cold air and chip got me down to 8.6.

i had a 97 with 3.42's and an a4 and went 8.6 @ 84 i think

92 5.0 with a h/c/i and long tubes, 3:73 5 spd.

Yeah I spun so bad I had to start shifting at 4k in first and second. Took some work to not spin. All in all for never been on the track, figured i'd snap my trans but there is no chance of that.
