Are you spinning? The 60' is pretty slow for that ET, and the MPH is real high. I'm pretty close to what you run now, but 1.62 and 90 MPH, with a glide. The quickest way to drop ET, is in the 60', whatever you drop there, really helps down track. I figured with a stick your 60' should be better? And like they said, knock some weight out of it.sigpic

more stickersDon't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

High hp and being a manual transmission is a bit of a challenge on the 60' times. But like said above, get the 60' times down and the rest should take care of itself. How old the tires are and track prep will play a big part.
What is the other car you are wanting to race? Auto or Standard?
Remember, if you are not breaking shit, you are not trying hard enough.

Both our cars are street cars but neither see many miles. His is mostly show but used to be more race. Mine is a more street oriented. I don't want to make it all race but at the same time I don't drive it but about once a month it seems like. If I go with 28" slicks will I need more gear. Or should I try gears and dropping some weight. I was planning on new lighter seats and I can remove 50 lbs from trunk easily. I have tubular k member but factory control arms so I know there is easy weight to loose there also
