First TEX275 race scheduled for March 15

Yes we will continue two classes. It wasn't a bad night for the first one with no advertising due to a quick reschedule and on a Friday.

We had a few regulars who just aren't ready or had family time that kept them out this week such as Unc, John S, Benny, Mike K, Scott's white car, and a few more.

What I find interesting is the guys who do nothing but get on the internet and bash us but never show up with a car to race. All we hear is how "bad" they are and how they're going to destroy the class but nothing. Never bring a car. Heck some of them are on here and I'm not sure they even own a car.

We will have a very good year and Ennis will be a great place to race for years to come for us.

(And yes, I've said for two years now that my car was going to be out but due to our shops busy schedule, which is a good thing, it just hasn't happened. But I've shown up to every race to help out as I can with the class and multiple racers.)

Well said. I wanted to come but couldnt get off work early enough to make it there on time. You guys have to remember there was also a race in Abilene and Memphis that alot of people went to that could of possibly came to Ennis.

It's hard to make car count on a Friday night on short notice. I'm pretty sure the race in May will be better. I also find it funny that everyone that is crying about the two classes or not having a good car count didn't even have a car at the race. Maybe one day they will let them drop and race in the class!

I guess as a spectator i was just expecting more cars in that class. no big deal, i'm sure it will get better as the season goes along too.

That's why I say it will get better. My gut and inside information tells me that we are just getting ready to start having a more productive race schedule, car count, and better shows.

Sorry was not directed at just a general spectator. This was directed at people that say they will race in the class and then never show up. But, yes as a spectator you would want more cars to show up that's what you pay to see. The next race in May will have more cars. I bet both classes will have over 8 cars.

Well the first thing I would do if I ran Tex275
Would be to have the web site state what's going
on for this year and when. That's just me! I know
I'm just a dumb redneck!!!



Then I would have someone do some promoteing Tex275
I think this class will be like king of the hill was back in the day
So Tex275 let's go!!!! The more you put in to it the more will come!!!



And know don't want or have time to run this deal but I can help
with ideas to make it better for everyone (king of the hill) races
where on the radio and flyers where at the auto parts stores!!!!

New website just opened a few weeks ago and still is a work in progress. If you didn't know it's www.tex275.net. Motorplex is start to push the class better and the ones on the Facebook page have been pushing it also. It's should be just up to tex275 board members to push the race. Every racer should be trying to push the race. I can tell you out pay isn't great. It's free, I pay membership just like everyone, I pay entry fee just like everyone, and I pay my $5 scale fee just like everyone else when we have to. So every racer should be posting up about the race instead of waiting for someone else to do it.

And for the guy that asked about the red rocket. First thing I have to say is get off buds dick. Yes his car was badass in its day! And Derrick car is red and is working like a mofo! The red rocket will come out and we will have to see if it is a 275 rocket it was something i call the car that's all! It's just going to be a filler car to help the class that's all! I know bud is a badass but you might want to ask his wife if you can suck him off like that!
