Interesting night to say the least . Track prep was good, no complaints here. My first pass down the track was a spin fest, made some minor adjustments and came back hooking. I had a good time, meet some new people.
Doing enough racing for 99% of the board!

                      Tex275

So after last night do you think we should run two classes?
Or should go back to one? Just seemed like car count was low
I know that there a few cars not ready yet but we had some come
from h-town. So the amount of cars you saw last night is more than
Likely what we will see! But on another note there was some good racing
Can't wait to get the RED ROCKET out and dust her off and have some fun!

I had a blast but didn't get to see much of the racing. I was too busy helping my buddy with his Camaro. We made one motor pass then started working on the nitrous tune up. Each pass was getting better but still not quite right on the tune. Thanks to Clint for taking a couple minutes out of his busy night to look at the plugs.

Anyone know if the kid with the Jr Dragster was OK. I was 5 feet away when he got hit and he looked like he was hurting pretty good with in seconds.

Car behind him rear ended him. Dragster was really low and we had been sitting a long time. I think he forget he was there and the Mustang pulled forward and popped him pretty good. The kid was just sitting there taking to his dad and probably leaning forward. The impact snapped his head back.

Yes we will continue two classes. It wasn't a bad night for the first one with no advertising due to a quick reschedule and on a Friday.

We had a few regulars who just aren't ready or had family time that kept them out this week such as Unc, John S, Benny, Mike K, Scott's white car, and a few more.

What I find interesting is the guys who do nothing but get on the internet and bash us but never show up with a car to race. All we hear is how "bad" they are and how they're going to destroy the class but nothing. Never bring a car. Heck some of them are on here and I'm not sure they even own a car.

We will have a very good year and Ennis will be a great place to race for years to come for us.

                              Thank you
                              Justin Minzenmayer

(And yes, I've said for two years now that my car was going to be out but due to our shops busy schedule, which is a good thing, it just hasn't happened. But I've shown up to every race to help out as I can with the class and multiple racers.)

you know what this means: at least 100' distance from Jr's.

they should redo staging so the jr's are further from any cars, they also should also have their on pit area so no cars are around them. better lighting in the staging area would help too. A few years back at Fun Ford a Yellow 67 fairlane jacked up with shackles put his bumper into our hood backing up in staging to change lanes.
