Its all for fun . I couldn't do the build and maintain thing either . To much like a job and I could care less if someone has a faster car (ie bigger wallet) then me . My dick isn't small enough to have to prove that to anybody . Just come out and run the car to say you did it .

Not always the case . I have known allot of guys that would cut there arm off to win a race . I have also seen that in most serious racing classes the guy with the deep pockets , or at least the drive to mortgage himself up to his eyeballs is the one who will win . The guy that can rent the track , fly in the best tunners , or have someone else drive his car is the one I'm talking about . After that race or that season the glory fades and in no time its all forgotten . That scene is just not for me or my buddies . We build our owne cars on a budget , drive and race them our selves , and help each other out anytime the other guy needs it (even if we are trying to beat them) . The desire to race , have fun , and hang out is what I like and if your car is faster then mine or you drive better good for you and maybe I can learn something from you . On the other hand if your car broke I would do my best to help you fix it and make it faster even if I new it would be faster then mine . I just don't have my ego connected to my car or anything I can do with it . Pony , I don't find I drive my car any harder on the track then on the street . The traction is better but other then that if it will break at the track it would probably break on the street . Plus its safer and legal .
