Just a little background on the race... Chicago told OKC to pick a lane and that they were staying in the lane all night. OKC picks right lane. Chicago tells them to start prepping. OKC brought one little sprayer with a gallon of vht in it. Chicago brought a tractor with a vht sprayer and a van with some primitive contraption that had slicks stuck to it out to the street to prep it. So they sprayed the vht then the van followed it dragging the slicks. They did this for about 2 hours on the left lane (Chicago's lane). Finally they were finished and it started to sprinkle as Tuff and Dave raced. So that was the only race. Cool stuff.

You also forgot to mention the guy that did win doesn't even actually street race. He has been called out a thousand times over the years and always has the same old " ill run ya at the track" speech. The only reason tuff even raced was because it was for tv. That's another reason they won't take the rematch.

Prep and drag the entire lane? Yep, sounds like a "Street Race" to me. What ever happened to your buddy jumping out and squirting Dr.Pepper, VHT or what ever under your tires. You do a burnout, line them up and go at the drop of arms or flashlight.
