Cool car! Here's a story about one of my favorite early T-birds.

I like the early T birds. That second one is cool.
My friend is in Arizona right now with this at the auction. It has like a $300000 reserve on it.

They only built a handful of F-code supercharged T-birds. He might get it.

1957 Ford Thunderbird D/F-Code Phase I For the 1957 Daytona Speed Weeks, Ford prepared an amarda of special cars including 15 supercharged versions of the Thunderbird. That weekend Harold Mauck ran 138.755 mph for the Two-Way Flying Mile and Ford subsequently put the F-Code supercharged Thunderbird into production. The D/F-Code was part of a Ford Motor Company Supercharger Program to homologate Ford’s superchargers into NASCAR. As part of 100 supercharged cars, they made 15 Thunderbirds. These had their radio, heater, […]

My dad's old boss ran a restoration shop out of Odessa called 'Thunderbirds Etc' where he restored one of those, some E-birds, a few '57s with the "bird's nest" rumble seat, as well as a Battlebird.

Yea, I didnt realise how rare they really are. This car is one of 6 that has the paper work from Ford saying that it is the real deal. I guess alot of them didnt have the original assembly line paper work showing it was supercharged. The car is also radio and heat delete and it has a real low gear in it. It might be a factory 4:11 gear.
Im sure its rare and expensive but its just not my thing. I would rather have the car that you posted. That car and its history is way cooler to me.
