  • NX vs nitrous outlet

I figure this will be a better lace to ask than the garage.

Who do you think makes a better plate kit for the LS motor? I know nitrous outlet does some awesome direct port stuff but don't really know anything about their plate kits. NX has been making pretty good quality stuff for awhile so I'm trying to see if anyone has any preference between the two and why.

I worked for both. I'm VERY good friends with David Vasser, and my father is best friends with Mike Woods(owner of Nitrous Express).

Not getting into details that neither company wants to get out, I would go with Nitrous Outlet over NX. Customer Service with Nitrous Outlet is top notch. I would say quality of components is the best in the business for both with N.O. leaning a little ahead.

Last I talked to him he did, it wasn't running. He was messing with an LS1 swapped S-10 for the longest time. It's been nearly 6-7 years since I have talked to mike woods. I don't go up to Wichita Falls hardly anymore, and now that my parents are older they don't travel like they used to.

I have run quite a few of Dave's kits and have been very happy with them. They are always happy to entertain comments and suggestions, and I think their R&D is always a step ahead because of their open minded approach to listen to their customers. Prices are always competitive and as already noted customer service is what you expect from an exceptional company. Nitrous outlet all day long for me.

When Dave comes up from Waco to help (even takes cell phone footage with your phone), it goes a looooong way. I like the fact he's right in the middle of all of his products and knows the answer to any question you have tech related. Can't find a better product with better customer service after they've taken your money.

I just noticed he's 6 miles from my office, cool. I make very regular trips to DFW if someone needs parts moved.

I just ordered stuff from them (Nitrous/Outlet) for the wet kit I am adding to the Z. Very friendly and helpful.
