Anyone here racing in the TMCCC? Just curious on your thoughts about the league. I have not been racing in years. Hell I have not even been to the track to watch in at least a couple if not more. However, I thought if I ever were to go out it might be fun to do it on a inconsistent basis. Thoughts?

My dad, stepmom and I all race in it. It's a lot of fun. This will be my second full year doing it and it is worth it

I enjoy them. You get to see a whole different pack of cars that only run that series. And these days it ain't no duck hunt, you better be ready! Sure brings out a big car count for a plastic trophy. And plenty of 5 second cars too. Proves racing for big money takes away the fun sometimes.

Yeah I tend to agree with that to some extent as well. The big money heads up stuff is fun to watch but not sure I would want to put up with all the bitching about the rules, the rules changes, etc. That's assuming I could ever afford it in the first place.

My car runs and drives but still needs some tweeking to get it running as well as it can. Not to mention the never ending little odd and in crap that always comes along with hot rods.

I see some of you posted which club you are racing with. Who is everyone else racing with?

Make sure you stop by and say hey. I remember your old fox body. The Mustang group is really a great bunch of guys and lunch is always good. March 15 at Kennedale to start. 10 events and a great easy going setting with a lot of nice cars.

Check out the Southwest Heritage Racing Association as well (www.shraracing.com). If you have a '79 or older car we have a bracket class for you. Along with being able to watch all the nostalgia index classes. We have been trying to work with the TMCCC schedule to do saturdays before their sunday races and will have a schedule out soon.
