    But still have brakes, right?

LOL at not having brakes when not running a belt. If you need more brakes, just use both feet!

I would be more concerned with the EFI sensors not having the proper voltage. They're pretty sensitive to that. But the brakes wouldn't concern me.

Good time for a relatively stock Mach.

For someone that's new to the track it would be a pleasant surprise and good thing they have 2 turn offs. Lol

Neither your WS6 nor '82 GT has hydroboost.

In 31 years of racing I have made well over 2000 passes so Im not some kid spouting out about stuff that I know nothing about.

I was drag racing when some of you were still swinging in your old mans balls. I kid I kid.

Im not saying its a better idea then a short belt or an EWP because by running no belt the thing that I dont like is that you loose your power steering (short belt will to) and if you get out of shape it can be hard to steer without it. My brand new 01 WS6 went from 109 MPH to 111 MPH back to back with nothing more than taking the belt off.and I ran that car for two years and would always take the belt of for the last pass of the day to see what it would do.
Nope, you are worse than the kid spouting off, you try to pull the experience card as justification for giving out terrible advice. Of those 2000 passes you have made, how many of them were made without a belt? It might have worked for you, but it's still bad advice. I have seen the carnage of WOT and no coolant flow before.

2000 passes in 31 years really isn't that much. Just sayin'.
