K-member and coil overs? Don't overthink what you're trying to do here. I'd say wait until you're in the mid 6s before trying out exotic/spendy font suspension stuff on a Fox. You've still got a lot of meat left on the bone.

A pair of those springs costs less than $20 (probably free), could significantly help his launches, and takes about 30 minutes to install. Mike's approach thus far has been to run "bang for the buck" modifications, so I think he should at least give them a try.
K member and coil overs will get the car more rear percent and lighten it up a lot as well. I say its very well worth it no matter how fast your car is, if you are drag racing it.

If every fox was the same id agree. Why do you think i rolled on slicks in the black car all the time. It was the only way it would hook worth a damn with stock springs. I really wished I would have done a k member and coilovers.
