  • New best time!

Still needs some work on the 60ft but still dropped .2 and almost 2mph. I wanted to break 91mph so bad.

Good job man. A 1.5 60' is asking a lot of the car. It might do it with a rev-limiter clutch dump, but be ready to thumb a ride home. lol

On the spray yeah, if it doesn't break.

I got the 1.7 from launching around 5000, not a clutch dump but pretty close.

Nice work! I use to cut 1.65 short times in my bolt on fox. But that was launching much harder then you are. First light comes on my foot was to the floor on the factory rev limiter then dump the clutch ad let it eat. Would run consistent 11.8 at 112 on motor.

I would be happy with 7.50s but 7.40s would be a full second increase over my stock heads.

A 1.6x I would think would easier to do if I had strange front struts and different springs. The sve 2 inch drop springs make the car nose heavy.

Try a pair of four-cylinder springs in it. It's an old trick, dirt cheap, and sometimes it works.

Well I don't like the 4x4 look that much.

Here in a month or so I should be able to drop my aje k member in with tubular a arms, strange 10way struts with coil overs. Can't decide on the spring rate. 14-130?

Guess you've never seen a V8 fox body running 4cyl springs.

I know they sit lower, but wasn't for sure if it would look how I want. Plus the a arms for coil springs are retarded expensive
