    Cruise Results

    Well took The Joker out for its maiden voyage down the track for its first time ever. I have to admit I felt guilty ragging on it at the race track. But it has a Ford 9inch & Cam with Bolt on's. First pass off the street

    Ran 8.0 @ 89 with a 1.924 60 ft & ran a couple more times with same results & was really pissed. I lauched at 2000 rpms & on 3 runs like this between 2000 to 2500 rpms

    Let it cool down & changed my launch , This next time I changed my launch & got a little more aggressive. I ran Rafa & ran him 4 times total. All 8.0 & one 7.9 with a low 1.9 & was like WTF!

    So got really aggressive & launched at 4000 RPMS & Wala! 7.608 @ 91 mph and then backed it up with a 7.686

    Let it cool down and ran it two more times & both where 7.70s. Had a good time.


    BIG THANKS TO BROOKS! I really appreciate you taking time out of your personal time to set these cruise's up. But it was a SAD SHOWING FOR DFWMUSTANGS & to be honest. I don't blame Brooks if he does the cruise twice a year. We need to show we love this place & support the events and start being more friendly to each other or let this board & cruise events keep dying the slow death it is. ME INCLUDED! I haven't been to a event in over 4 years. But as a senior member. I plan to start making these events. I want this board to live on for another 20 years & know you guys when im in my 50s & 60s. Ok im done bitching

    That's a great looking car. I meant to come over and bs and eye ball it more but was dealing with some gremlins.

      Wish I could have made it, being on Sunday with football tickets is an issue for me.

            yea I was afraid it was going to be a bad showing. so much going on this weekend plus the site is going downhill in the racing department. the site is still doing fine, just the racing part lacking.

            with my new job (guess its not so new anymore) im going to try and make it more. I was slacking for many many years

              No biggie at all!

              Was hoping to put some bigger pills in it today. Just didn't feel like chancingit with the coolant drip.

                Thanks man! Im happy with the car all around. It was good seeing your car back out again! Its def on a good start for it coming back out. Just imagine after you get it all dialed in

                  I was one of the few spectators in the stands, but still had a great afternoon watching everybody run. Seb, your new orange SS looks great and sounds mean as hell going down the track. Good job putting down all those runs, driving it like you stole it!

                    Had a great time out there. Nice to see a few old faces. Was able to get a 7.87@ 91 today, couldn't get it to launch right. Had a few runs with Seb would have been a good race if my car would have gone in 2nd gear.

                        Good seeing you again Seb, and the Joker is a nice ride. Ditto to everything you said. It's not that hard for us to just get along, and get out a couple of times a year and race or watch.
                        Hell, I even set the mark for the slow end of the spectrum, and had a blast doing it. Secret launch control on the Focus, ftw!

                          had a great time myself, best cruise in a while in my opinion but I got there at 11 and just now got home so I really got my money's worth.

                              SEB, I'm in the process of emailing the videos of you guys ruinning today, had to edit them to make them shorter.

                              It was nice meeting new faces, really makes me miss my Bulllitt, that's all I kept saying while I was there...isn't that right Z06? haha
