turbo cars for staging

im about to be in the market for a boost controller. I was looking at the Boost Leash controllers. And I see they have a combo package with the pulse button system. Are most of yall turbo guys running a pulse system for staging? it seems like it would make things a whole lot easier.

also if there is another controller I should look at let me know.

I run the AMS1000
But some of the guys on our team use the MSD and it works fine when installed Correctly ( IE not like they tell you) the boost leash looks a lot like the AMS

Ams1000 is nice and has a lot of features. We use it as well as a bunch of others. Most people don't use half the features.

Randy's stuff (boost leash) is very nice and very easy to operate. Cheaper as well.

No, you'll have to buy that separate. Fuck that!!
I have the msd and it works good. I plan on switching to the boost leash with the pulse crap soon.

LOL this is the dumbest thing I have read on the internet!

The AMS 1000 is a great controller. However the boost leash is also a great controller. I have a few friends who use it with great success. I also have a couple friends with the pulse leash set up but have yet to use it (cars aren't going down the track) The pulse leash is very easy to use as is the AMS

I have the MSD boost controller and it works well and I am happy with it.

As far as staging the pulse leash certainly makes things easier but it's not necessary. It takes some practice, but if you can do it right the staging process becomes second nature without a pulse feature.
