How fast is a C6 Z06?

Just ran one in Mexico with my KB'12. 60-140. We went twice. First time I got the jump and he couldn't catch me. Second run, he got the jump and I couldn't reel him in. This was on my street tune which makes about 30 less than my track tune. I don't know what his mods were if any but it wasn't overly loud or anything. It had aftermarket wheels/ brakes but probably not much else. Should I be encouraged or discouraged? Lol! We were pretty much dead nuts even after the initial hit.

There good running cars form a 60 roll. They can with just bolt ons and a small cam make 600. With that power and the car being around 3,100 makes it fast on the street.

I've gotten drug by one with unknown mods. It's a beast of a car. I only make 474 rwhp 462 tq

My street tune is around 580rwhp and is an auto with 3.15's. We were dead nuts even. I wasn't gaining or losing ground. I don't think he was very modded. Wasn't overly loud or anything.

They can be fast or slow with the wrong person behind the wheel. I put 2 cars on one and he couldn't reel me in. I was making 440~ in my cobra at the time.

I guess I shouldn't read too much good or bad into it then. I wasn't able to get to the track this weekend, so I was trying to get my fix! Lol!

Mine would run 11.3-11.5 all day long on street tires. From a roll it ran good. Like the others said it depends a ton on the driver. You catch one with traction control on and a lazy shifter & stock goodyear tires, 90% of the time they are not any faster than a regular vette.

I have seen one go 10.9 at Ennis with just a set of drag radials. Stock everything else.

A zO making 520rw..which could be just a cold air and tune, will usually beat a 600-650rw gt500 no prob
