ENNIS, Texas (Jan. 16, 2013) – Grudge racing and open street legal racing returns to select Saturday nights at Texas Motorplex in 2013, starting May 18.
Ultimate Street Nights feature the best in street racing, grudge matches and more. Gates open and racing starts at 8 p.m. and racing will go until 2 a.m. one Saturday each month starting in May and continuing through November.
Ultimate Street Nights will open with a five-event series in 2013: May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, October 5 and November 16. It’s just $15 to race and $10 to watch.

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
