LMFAO, I think Ive mentioned it a few times... The Denton cruise last March was epic for what it normally is...

It is what it is. Ive almost wrecked there a few times, it's too narrow and sketchy for me to want to run on.

I would say part of the reason a lot of the old school members getting older and things changing. Like having kids and things like that. I wouldn't put myself in that class with u guys since I have only been around since 07. I will be there for the fall cruise. Brooks u have done a hell of a job all this time. No need to say sorry for anything. U have had a busy year with getting married and opening ur business. And this site isn't dying just changing. New blood would be nice. Just hard to find decent new blood. Yeah this site can bust some balls but the newbs just need to reliaze it is all in fun. come in do ur time and it's all good.

You blame the track for your bad driving/poorly set up car?

I do notice that there aren't a lot of young guys out there running anymore. There are exceptions of course (ex, Josh.0 and 91CoupeMike) but there isn't a large group of competitive 20-something guys anymore. Just old farts, lmao. I guess the ricer scene took all the kids.

What about a dfwmustangs gtg once or twice a year. Not at a track. A big restaurant or something, then go out for a cruise afterward. But taking the place of the track gtg (which is what I prefer), just throwing the idea it there.

all that stopped after about '04 when the LS1 was old news

                i've been uninterested ever since.

the site is definitely "dying" when you look at the members who have left. although its not like its going to just fall off and be a ghost town, its just the same members posting the same shit, so it's going to stay stagnant. There are a few people who I believe if they werent around, or as vocal as they are this site would be thriving, but instead they would rather slam every new member in the first 5 posts, then get mad when the same thing happens to them.

Eric Christiansen I am talking about you.

I think it's up and down but I had a great time and it was a beautiful day . It would be nice to see more support for all the hard work that Brooks puts in but I have fun no matter how many people show and I appreciate the effort .

Keep on repeating it, maybe it will be true. And you misspelled my name, Rodney Walter.

I always enjoy them. The car count was down and it wasn't a good day for my car, but the worst day at the track beats the best day at work.

                            Thanks Brooks.

I havent seen th newb hazing you are crying about lately.

All races have had a dip in car counts, the economy is in the shitter, gas is high, blah blah blah. Plus the old timers here in this board are getting to be old timers, and you either have racers that are going faster or guys that would rather spend that money on the house and kids than to try to keep up with the fast guys.

i blame the LS/Turbo craze and the fact that not everyone can afford to build/maintain a 1000hp street car these days, and running 8.2s is just not as fun as it used to be
