i'd love to start off running a 7.0 index car, but i think its a crowd killer, it's like the daily driver class at drag week.the stands empty and everyone leaves to go check out the big boys in the pits. if x275 is going 4.6's get ultra street to the .8s and keep a 6.5 index class and i think you have a great event that will keep the people in their seats. maybe invite a pro mod or two to come out and make a couple test hits just to bust some ear drums!THE BAD HOMBRE

What I would like to see, is a class for the working man (blue collar). A class where the guys that works 40-50 hours a week, but wants to go to the track on Friday or Saturday nights. Something like, with just a few rules, such as 3200 lbs, small block, single plate system. Where everyone is on the same playing field, and the ones that are competitive are those that are willing to spend the time in the garage, tuning to get it right. Not an index class, just all out drag racing. I can see that being around for a very long time, and would promote drag racing for all.

We went 40's 6 years ago with an ultra street legal combo. With a sbf with brodix track 1x heads and a plate I would think you could run 20's or teens. That would be a 3000lb combo.903-870-8109
