I like the idea of 2 cruises. They were always a bigger showing like you said when there are 2. Pick a weekend with no 275, koth, etc race and we're bound to have a good showing.

I like the red line track but I guess that's too far for some people? Though there might be more cruising to that

Hope to make them both this year.

Dallas Raceway doesnt tech for speed, just sayin... seatbelts and a helmet are all Ive ever been asked for.

Does 90% of this site life in Ft Worth or something? Its just about as far to drive to Redline, DR, or Ennis as it is Kennedale for those that live in North Dallas...

That's not true, I witnessed him at Dallas Raceway a few weeks back.

I went last year to the March one (it was awesome and was at Denton).

Yes you are right, I don't go to kennedale, its farther than any track and its the jankiest. Heh

I have 2 cars I'd like to race, just won't be at KD.

What Brandon meant was I don't go to janky eigth mile tracks... In that case he is 100 percent correct.

KD isn't so bad on cruise days. But I agree even then not as nice as the others.

I'm down for a cruise at Denton you never have to think if that track is going to hook or not like you do at KD. It's off or on there and it's to far for me to find out. Denton is always hook city.

I'm still waiting on dates from our standard venue. Eric from Texas Motorplex has contacted me and I simply haven't returned his pm's (Sorry Eric ). Mainly, I am trying to hold out and give TXR our business, followed by Denton and last but certainly not least, the motorplex. I think the years past of 3 or 4 per year are just too many. Back about 5 years ago, when we did 2, it was bangin!

There's only a few of us who can make tech at Ennis, and that's not really my concern. The concern is distance and how many of us can or will make the drive. I hate to book a date and only 40 of us show up. We've been doing this cruise for 10 years now and I've found there's a few MAJOR things that keep our people from going. For the records, or typical attendance is something like 80 cars and 300-400 spectators and we've gone as high as 120ish cars and 600ish spectators.

The day of the cruise (Saturday or sunday)

Hey brooks, why is Redline or DR not in consideration as backup venues ? Persionally, The mototrplex is too far for me. That's why I havent been out there in 15 years. Just sayin.....

Biggest thing about k dale its to hard for all the street tire guys to drive around the water box. Just keeps getting spread out everywhere.

And i like the idea of just 2 cruises brooks, back then there was big turnouts. buy back thren there was more action in the racing bench to.

Exactly, its just too narrow. Denton and Redline rule the Eigth tracks.. One at Denton and one at Dallas Raceway would be cool. I've seen DR run eigth and quarter at the same time, just stage them in different lanes. Really anyone who has been to DR, it makes the other tracks seem lacking.

Its nice having 4 cruises a year but it is more appealing for 2 big turn outs then 4 crappy size turn outs. Plus with more cruises always a bigger chance to break and i know alot of u guys run a shit ton of other events
