no lol im saying i dont like to run it up that high because it feels like the cam is falling on its face... i baby my car alot so anytime i run it up that high i get kinda antsy...seeing as it is my only car in college and id like to take care of it =).

What valve springs are on your car ? That might have something to do with it falling off up in the r's .

Spoken like a true horrible driver. When I first got my car I was shifting it down at 6400 and running 115 mph traps. Now I know the car slot better and shift it at 7000-7100 and it trapped 124. So that wouldn't have mattered if I shifting higher crap is rediculos

i was referring to the coupe, but your right, the cobra has a letter cam.. he should spin it to 7k.

I run faster shifting as close to 5300 as possible. Any higher is a waste of time.

I put gt40 heads on one of my foxes. I gained 10 peak hp but 500 rpm useable power band over e7's and it was still a stock cam

We both have 3.73s and ran from a 40.

I was ahead by 1 or more by the middle of 4th So we shut it down. I was still pulling.

I like your threads they are funny..I had a hatch with e-cam, exhaust, 3.73's, t-5. Fun car to drive but it was slow as fuck...I miss that car. Don't forget to bring that beast of yours to the spring cruise..
