I'm in no hurry to spray it right now, having a ton of fun with it being as fast as it is like it sits. No need to go faster with out a cage. It feels creepy running that fast with 80's technology protecting my ass in a budget truck when it was built new.

lol, i didn't realize there wasn't a cage in it. even with a cage when i'm slowing down at the end of a pass i sometimes think about if i had a brake failure how screwed i'd be (and i'm only going 122mph, these guys doing 180+ i can't even image).

I have a goal in mind for a number to run. I'm gonna see just how fast a stock shortblock will go on a small shot. I know what I can get away with, been down this road before with stock stuff. I just want to do it with a limited amount of nitrous, no dedicated fuel system ect.

Hopefully the weather holds off long enough Saturday to get some racing in.

Your going for 8.8's this weekend? 8.8's is no joke can't want to see what it does. Dallas is going to have the fastest stock blocks around man. Who needs built motor's anymore LOL

We won't be at Dallas raceway this weekend, ProMods at Redline Sat night so we'll be there. I do not want to run a 1/4 with out a cage.

Went out again this weekend and its producing good numbers in a 30mph head wind. Cut a new best sixty foot. 1.34, went a 6.23@108 and still went a 9.92@130. The wind was killing it. I imagine it could run some .70's pretty easy with the right conditions.

It'll be on a small shot this weekend, no more then 150 pills.

Redline will be my best bet as far as traction goes, DR is a hit or miss type facility.
