Our turbo rules are word for word x275 rules and I think the weights are the same. I dont have them memorized but I will check it and see where your weight should be. Thanks for showing up and thanks for your input/support at the meeting.

they are checking on the A-head (x275 legal with no penalty) but the rules say no raised runner big block heads which the A-head is. I'm sure that the rules committee will check it out and follow along with the John Sears rules which allow them.
As far as the yates, canted valve, splayed valve, or factory cleveland type heads on forced induction combos, the question was asked if the rules would ever be changed on the forced induction head rule in the middle of the year, which has happened before. The response was that could be a possibility depending on a lot of factors, which to me and the other turbo guys there in essence means; don't change from a "conventional", to use a chevy term, inline head.
I'm sure the committee will do their best to keep parity.903-870-8109

I'm sure the turbo guys are going to really pick up this year and the nitrous guys really should with a 52 pill on the big blocks.
It's going to be a good year of racing.903-870-8109

Of course the rep from the Texas Motorplex wasn't at the meeting so I'm not sure what regulations they require to race at that track. (License, cage cert, etc)

The Ford A head is an original Ford motorsport head (these arent even made anymore). maybe you mean the Trick Flow A head with big valves

If I need to clarify my statement more, I was talking about the IDT Eliminator A-460, EX514, New TFS A-460 18-bolt, New TFS A-460, EX514 Cast Iron A-460, IDT Eliminator Cast Iron A-460, Older TFS A-460 (Not made anymore), Ford Motorsport A-460 (Not made anymore), and Ford Motorsport A-460 (Ford exhaust port which is not made anymore). All of these would not be legal if you read the rules verbatim but John Sears allows all of them. They are all called A-heads.903-870-8109
