Damn! Thats a nice car for sure, Im debating on what to do with this car. Not sure yet.

Either clean up the sludge and put it back together with GT40 heads & Explorer Intake or go big & do a Crate 5.0 motor from a 2011-2013 mustang or LS3 GM Motor. Both are about the same price. But the driveline along with computer will set me back about 10k & not sure I want to invest that kind of money yet in it.

Its just gonna sit for now

      Seb's high class.
      He'll mow your grass.
      He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
      He'll piss in a glass!

Your TA driveline is very similar to plans I have for the coupe. Just auto and a smaller turbo

I think im gonna do a Coyote Motor in the coupe. Ford Warrantys the motor & Parts! Im just gonna sit on it for now till I get about $7k together for the motor & not sure what the trans & computer will cost. Im gonna budget 12k for the whole Driveline

SEB my father is old school and he swears that you can clean sludge out of an engine by running a couple quarts of auto transfluid in oil with the rest regular oil and that the detergents in it will break it up and flush it out over a couple oil changes.

i'm sure you could just pull the motor and have the short block dissassembled and rebearing/ringed for cheap. unless you're just not wanting to pull the motor at all.
