Was talking with some guys I haven't seen in a few months and I was told that the city was trying to push out the strip in Kennadale ?

Why would the city kill out a source of $$$ for them ?

They city mgr Bob Hart wants to develop it into houses. They'd much prefer the property tax base provided by home owners over whatever the raceway brings in.

THey are really trying to clean Kennedale up, If you havent noticed all the strip clubs are gone, the dirty movie store is across IH20 in Ft. Worth city limits as is the Krystals shop is in Forrest Hill.

Kennedale is adding sprinkler systems from 20 to around the new strip mall deal, as well as trees/flowers, etc.

Im afraid its only a matter of time, THey dozed down two shitty trailer parks already
