This weekend was a huge success, I had a great time. The track was great (for me) earlier on in the night, but old tires kept me from getting down the rest of the night. Managed a single 5.24@136 on the first pass of the night and that was all I got that was close to 100%. After the first half of the night, the street tires took over and eventually degraded the line pretty good. I did see 582nova make a few 5.0x cruise control passes, so there was something there.
We talked about running a bracket and KODFWM, but with the storms looming around us, we decided to do TNT all night, and it worked out good. The weather cooperated with us 100% as well.
The TXR crew was on top of their game as usual, and the few spills we had were cleaned up and back to normal in no time. I must admit I was skeptical about going down the track after Brandon loosing coolant, or maybe David's oil down, not sure which it was.... no problems.
We took up somewhere in the nieghborhood of 89 tech cards, I think the previous record of 10x still stands though. Hopefully that changes in 2013, it will be the 10th year of the cruise (and my involvement). We're gonna work on something 'big'.
