Sorry about the track

Want to say the weather was nice out and there was a good turn out in cars at the cruise.

Now for the car, yea still having some issue. Not for sure whats going on with it dieing before the burnout. We have an ideas but still not for sure.

Now for dumping water all over the track, that wasn't the cars fault. That was all mine. Before doing the burnout it died on me. Before starting I shut off all the power, water pump, fans and fuel pump. Then just start over. Well after getting it started, I forgot to turn the fan and pump back on before the burnout. It then blew up upper rad hose. Which my lights are not very good in the car yet, so I didn't see the temp spike. So yea that was all my fault and I'm sorry for the delay.

Hopefully I didn't hurt the motor. Still new to the whole setup. I was always worried about doing this and I did. Hopefully I learned my lesson.

results, well I did break into the 7's lmao, 7.8@100mph, boy do i need a boost controller.

it did spray on the back tires at the top end. Its got loose up there. Yes safety is #1, check out my cage I have alot lol.

I hope you didn't hurt the motor either. I did something similiar tonight also. I forgot to turn on the water pump and the fans and my temp spiked considerably.....of course I did this loading the car on the trailer. LOL whoops.

Just FYI, you've demonstrated the top reason why none of the turbo cars (that I mess with) have regular hoses, they all use AN hoses. You can't blow them off. The worst you could do is vent the cap, but not near as likely.

I know your dad doesn't want to believe that it's hurt, and I know he said it sounded fine, and hopefully it is NOT hurt, - but I would seriously consider checking it out with a block test kit. You don't get a car hot enough to blow hoses off and peg a temp guage without some sort of fall out.

I'm glad to see it out, be careful in it. It's gonna be fast!

thanks for the input brooks. We will be checking it out making sure everything is ok. Its going to be down for alittle while anyways, have to fix some other things. With winter coming, its perfect timing.

I hope so. Seeing your car fly down the track and knowing alittle what is.done to yours kinda similar to mine. I feel like mine is going to run pretty good. Im sure it wont be as fast as yours.

It sure is alot different than my old h/c/i 302 with the s trim. Lol
