Who all is coming to race in Houston?

I haven't decided on running in the Index rumble and setting it for 9.50/10.00, or just running open comp. I just sent in my check and paperwork for my NHRA license, so I'll be legal and have no worried about what it runs out the back door this time. I'm hoping with all the changes I just made it will hit some 9.30s-9.40s on motor. I just dropped nearly 100 lbs with a new k-member, aerospace front brakes, and switching from a 9" to an 8.8" rear.

Look for me in the pits and come say hi.

I'd like to see NMRA come to TX Motorplex as well. NMRA has been pretty good at Houston and I like making a road trip up there to for a race every now and then. When a big race like this comes to town, all my car buddies from www.westsidemustangs.com usually get together a big group of racers and setup camp in the pits. Always a good time!

Already packing my bags and getting car ready. There will be 4 of us from the Mansfield area coming down on Friday to meet up with some friends that live in The Woodlands to have some fun for the weekend.

I ran a 1.35, 6.06@113.2 on Sunday at HMP, with hopefully similar weather as to what we'll have here this weekend. Got my license paperwork back so I'll be legal. I may throw the bottle in it Friday night for a full 1/4 hit on a small shot to see if it'll break the 8 second barrier.

It ended up running a best of 5.22, best MPH was 139. Flipped shorties and air/air intercooler. Next season it will be EFI, air/water, and hopefully see some 4.80's.

Yeah, i need better EFI, stock can only go so far.
