    Sort of. I've been using a 2011 Hyundai Elantra as my daily driver for the past year and it served its purpose well. Evan had a top speed of 123mph, but I just couldnt take it any more. Although I still have a 10 second Camaro and a 13 second Silverado, it was time to get back in an American made V8 daily driver. My choices were 2010 Camaro SS, 02-04 Z06, or 2011 Mustang GT. I didnt really want to loose 6-8 years of technology and I wasnt sure how financing would go, so I ruled out the Z06. My goal was to stay under $25k and be manual trans, so that pretty much ruled out the SS. I ended up getting a 2011 Yellow Blaze GT premium. It has the Brembo brakes and 3:73's. 13k on the odometer. It already has a JLT cai and Roush axle back. I dont know how to tell if its been tuned. I took it to Royal Purple Friday night. Conditions were not great with off and on sprinkles. I made 3 passes all @112mph. Best was 12.83@112 with 2.0 sixty foot. Thats bogging out of the hole and wheel hopping like crazy in 2nd gear. I figure it will do some 12.5's with sticky tires.

              Fucking sweet dude. Im assuming if you look it up, not too many 11's with Brembos in that color combo.

                Nice ride. $25k for a used '11 sounds Kinda high, if people are getting the base models w/Brembos for $25k that they say they are.

                I stacked mine with too many options to be near that, so I can't compare. I really like mine though.

                    Thanks Roy, and the rest of you guys. I have found 2 things I dislike so far. Number one is the fuel milage. I was expecting 25-27mpg on the highway, I'm only getting 21mpg. Yes, I know it has 3:73's. Number two, its a pain in the ass to change the oil.

                      I thought changing oil was easy. Is you car a auto ? I get around 27mpg with mine.

                        Its a manual. You must not have ever changed oil in a Chevy! Its really not that bad. I only have 6 quart drain pans. Had to drain some out then put the plug back and switch drain pans. Then you have to remove the plastic shield. And when you pull the filter oil goes every where.

                          Maybe it is the tune that is causing the lower mileage.

                            I would have to assume it is the tune, the 3:73s are not helping either. Mine is getting 21 with mixed driving and on two San Antonio trips it was getting 32 with the a/c on. Of course mine is an automatic with 3:15s.

                              I was thinking about getting the SCT hand held tuner and having a race tune and a mild tune loaded for daily driving. But I like the it ran at the track last night so I'll probably just leave it like it is.
