On short hops, the F150 can pull it there, not well but it can..You might want to check if its legal , not sure if the towing capacity is and today , states are enforcing every possible law to generate revenue .
I pulled a 28, bare box enclosed for short time , for short distance and it plain sucked with a half ton ( this one was a 4x4 which I thinked help it suck)
Wind really pushes them( trailers) around
I looked and looked at all the trailers and I can kinda break it down like this
The basic trailers are like Haulmark, Pace,Vintage, classic carriers, etc.
On those types of trailers, more or less, they are all built about the same and cost about the same ..slight differences in trim, etc.
Then there are the better ones, like Featherlite, H&H, Performax, atc
After that, there is Ultima,Gold Rush , T&E...Etc.
The options are really endless and it depends on what and how often you are going to use it plus, you need a big spot to store on too
Anything less than 26' will be too small, frankly anything less than 28 would be off my list of new trailers
Mine is 30' , I have a restroom, shower, air, smoothsides, coin floor, ext hitch, elec jack, 6800 lb axles, and other things
I tow mine with a dually and its for me the only way to go
Look on racing junk, find one that fits your budget save money, should be able to get a deal
I'm going to be looking at the "basic type" of the spectrum that you listed above...but I want it finished out on the inside, with walls, floors, done and cabinets....my car is of show quality, which is the only reason I need/want an enclosed...I'm thinking a 26-28' is the way to go....storage is not an issue, I have a place to keep it...I'll shoot you a PM to a link and you tell me what you think of this partiular unit..
Your trailer is a tad big for what I'm looking for.... :-)
I haven't heard from him in aa few weeks, last I heard he was doing good.
That isn't my trailer, though I wish it was. It belongs to my buddy that I work and race with. It sure is nice, but way too heavy for my truck, aside from the cost.

I have an in for a 36 to 40' gooseneck, triple axle used trailer for CHEAP! If I had a diesel, I'd buy it myself. It was a former race shop's trailer and is a little rough, but it could be had for $4500. I have pictures somewhere around here if anyone is interested. It's in Houston and the Lawyer in charge of getting rid of it would like to get it out of his parking lot.

If you decide to buy a basic trailer and need the interior finished out please let me know. My dad owns his own shop and we work on Rv's and racecar trailers. We can do pretty much anything you want. We have done a few complete interiors that have came out pretty nice. We can do anything from screwless interior walls to custom stainless or aluminum work benches, any kind of flooring (rubber, vinyl, diamondplate), custom diamondplate work, rooftop ac installs, bathroom installs, 110 and 12 volt wiring, pretty much anything you want. Here is a picture of the last complete interior we did. This was a basic plywood trailer inside, we installed all the walls, trimmed everything out in polished diamondplate, add the rubber coin floor, wired the entire trailer with 110 and 12 volt lights and built the stainless work bench in front.
Here are a few more pics. Let me know if I can help you or anybody else out in any way. Feel free to give me a call. Michael 817-996-4412
And just a little fyi. The two main things I would look for before buying a trailer is 5200 pound axles and 16" wheels. If you go with 3500 axles they will eventually give you problems and if you go with 15" tires on a trailer very heavy you will have problems with that also.
