I know littlemoney and Summer have a good Race going. However just because they and Northstar did not come to an agreement is no reason to bash Northstar or boycott them.
From what I have seen I have been totally impressed with the new owners. I have been on two random Friday nights and the track was prepped like they were about to race pro mods. The owner came to talk with us and I mentioned to him. "Thanks for having the track so good on a reg. Friday night." His answer was "If this track is open, it will be prepped like if there is a big race" he then said "Denton will be known in the future for the best 275 and grudge racing in Texas". He said he will put up the big money to get people here from all over.
I liked the previous owners & management, we never had any issues. However it looks like the new owner wants to push it to the next level..

Exactly, Gene the new owner seems like a real good guy. Since he has bought it, we have been there about 8 times already with various cars. Every time the track prep has been great. We went Thursday night with a car I tune on, and went sub teens in the sixty, and hauled ass out the back, with no issues on track prep. Keep in mind this was Thursday night.

He wants to go a different direction in regards to all the class racing and grudge stuff. Alot of it has to do with spectator count. The tracks don't make money off the racers, they make money off the spectators. With
that being said, they want to do there own thing instead of going trough promoters. I really hope it works out, being that I am so close to the track.

I have actually become friends with the new owner and I truly believe his heart is in the right direction. He believes he can make the track very successful. He is also a drag racer and has raced for a long time, so he is fully committed.

I hope the new ownership and management work out the kinks. This has became a nice place to race over the last couple years or so and I hope it does succeed.

I agree Manny. NSD is my favorite facility. Larry and Nick did an excellent job with the track from A to B. All of their events were ran with precission week end and week out. I like the attitude of the new owner as far as prep goes. Sometimes some new blood infused into a system gives it new life.

I'm glad to hear the new owners are stepping it up. My truck, and car are slow, so it's not as big of a deal for me. But I love watching the fast cars.

I had a great time at NSD this weekend. We went 1.23 60ft on the 1st pass today. Second pass went straight to the bumper and broke the oil pan. Seems like they got the track prep under control. I know a few people in the low teens racing on 275s. Pretty damn stout. I will be up there this next friday testing again.

Track was good , bad9er went 4.65 and a few other cars I saw went personal best (I think) . The dart and mustang couldn't keep the front end down .
