67 Chevelle

Anybody have or had one of these? Looking at buying one this week and just curious if anyone had any good or bad experiences with 'em.

The one I'm looking at is black on black, wanting to build a 7.0 car for the new season and this seems to be the only thing that wants me.

My brother had a 67 Chevelle SS 396 - factory bench seat 4 speed car I helped put together (we bought it minus the motor and trans). In the midwest you had to look out for rust in the trunk floor and rear quarters (we had to replace both in his) and of course problems with the vinyl top if it had one. Hopefully they are a little better in Texas. It was easier to work on (more room) than the whole string of 69-72 Novas than I had.

I've had a few novas 67-72, I'd really like to find a clean one of these again. They're getting up there in price is the down side.

Yep, that's why I'm slowing it waaay down to a simple ride. . I was tired of sinking so much money in the Camaro, that car was so exspensive to have it was hard on my health. Seriously
