I understand your concerns, We have adjusted some things at the gate for the next RelentlessX night. That was our first one. And as far as traction, We had four cars run 8.1's all night. Also we had a 1,000 hp 6speed GT500 on radials running high nines which is good considering he was leaving off of a clutch. Street tires do make a big impact on a track, you could have a 150hp civic or a 1,100hp vette. If you are on street tires then your are not going to see the times you are hoping for. Some of the biggest problems from that night as far as cars "looking at the wall" if you simply let out and get back into it on street tires, most of the time you will hook. the first 60-100ft is the hardest part.Comment

The street tires tear up a well prepped track. If you want the best prep and are on slicks.... get in line behind one of the big boys that show up. They usually stop and do a quick re-prep right before they run.Comment
