I haven't been out there in 5 years. It is NOT fun to face the wall in third gear on drag radials because the track prep was so bad that night. It also isn't fun when you see the same KOTH car run ten times to your one on a test and tune night.

I understand completely. My Name is Eric McClelland. I have worked here for approximately 8 years, However I took over the Competition Director position this past jan. The track is ran a little Differently these days. Bring your radial car out and watch what it does now. Same as I said at the begining I will say it now. Let me get you down the track, if you have any issues I will come out of the tower myself and help my guy's with the track. You can ask some of the guy's that came out a few months ago.

On the 17th we will do another RelentlessX.com night. The track will be open at 6 we will start running at 7 and stop at approximately midnight. It is 15 to race and 10 to watch. However if you show the RelentlessX flyer on your phone or the printed out flyer it will be 5 to watch and 10 to race.

I have to be honest with you, I came out there for the first time a few weeks ago and I wasn't too impressed. Back when RelentlessX did their first meet. I brought one flyer and a passenger. Obviously I am a member of the site because I brought one, but they still tried to charge my passenger full price because I didn't have two fliers. Pulled the flyer up on my phone to show them and they didn't even check it. Seems they were hoping that I didn't have a smart phone and were trying to squeak out a bit more cash.

Track prep wasn't the best either. I had a bone stock NPI Mustang GT Vert and I could barely get traction. Saw a couple of GT500's and a couple of corvettes nearly eat the wall as well. Overall I had fun, but my jimmies were slightly rustled.

That is not good, was just thinking about taking our Outlaw DR car out but need some good traction!

If they had street tires then it doesnt count street tires hook even less on a well prepped track then they do on the street.

I've never had a problem running in the 12 flat range at Ennis...slicks or street tires. Most of the sliding and breaking I've seen looked to be self-induced. Always had a good time at this track.

Street tires pull the rubber off the track typically, making the track even worse.
