The real deal is that they put a minimum 15 degrees on the small block forced induction heads except for the LS heads so all of the Yates style or the SC1 heads would not be allowed due to that in addition to their valve cant. As everyone in the organization knows I want to run the SC1 or yates heads for the structural integrity as much as anything. These darn inline heads move around too much with the 10 bolts under boost. Our old (5 year ago) victor heads flowed 390+ so the flow potential is not really an issue with any of these heads. Heck the last turbo motor's heads were out of the box cnc street heads and I think they could run with anybody for a limited lifespan. Yates/Sc1's aren't legal so we will not run them, end of story.

I do feel every combo can run 4.90's (granted some have 4.70 potential in perfect conditions but the fastest cars dont always win) and faster if tuned correctly. Horsepower is not an issue with most everyone out there. Look at the mph. Our mph's match up with what other parts of the country are running with no nitrous limits except they are getting down the track better. Our tracks are coming around here getting a handle of the radial prep and you will see consistant 1.teen 60 foots and faster front halfs due to track prep and trusting the tire and the car's setup.
And u need to re-read the rules, 15 degree min on sbf. No pro kings nitrous, n/a, or turbo

The title of the thread is TeX275 not Outlaw 275.

Three or four years ago Cedric told us they would fit the Yates/SC1 rules. We were looking to run them before we figured out how tall the darn hood would have to be.

Listen, we like the rules as they are. Should be 4.80's by spring!
